Global Warming

Global warming, an issue with potential solutions but no measures are being taken to help the issue. In all areas around the world there are hazards that are caused by global warming leading to harmed environments and a threat to other neighboring countries. Scientist have globally detected occurrences and have found evidence that causes one to believe the probable outcomes of global warming will eventually affect all races, ethnicity or religion. Alaskan’s are moving away from their homes in order to avoid the problem of being left stranded and without a home. The melting ice in Alaska causes a skeptic look on survival for certain areas in Alaska like the city of Shishmaref which is slowly loosing its land due to eroded torn away ice leading to higher elevations in sea level causing threat to the residents of that area according to (Elizabeth Kolbert, New Yorker Magazine 2005). In the area of Fairbanks there are constant deforestations and constant fires due to the heat causing “Drunken Trees” (Romanovsky, The New Yorker 2005). Also due to global warming, the country of Greenland is slowly melting away as it posses threats t other societies and areas like the eastern coast of the United States. Scientist in former President Jimmy Carter’s panel have raised awareness to the issue of pollution and Carbon dioxide emissions leading to the pollution and Global Warming but even then, it was too late to slow down the process, in other words the damage has already been done. Basically, society’s outcomes are from the affects of the past and previous disregard of the problem and when it is too late to solve the problem everyone who is innocent suffers the most.
